Characters

Bremen Sheeler
Human/Prettan hybrid with vast innate preternatural abilities, such as phenomenal strength, agility, toughness, heightened senses, near-perfect balance/dexterity, and unique bio regulating abilities.  In addition, he is a gifted craftsmen and an excellent hunter.

Generally quiet and reserved, with a dislike of large crowds & gatherings.  Very cautious by nature, which often leads him to become unduly suspicious/distrustful of others, especially humans.

Until recently, had been living in a communal Prettan enclave under the employ/tutelage of a renown artisan.  As a result of his unique powers, he has gained unwanted interest of a Sinister statesman/tycoon bent on reining in beings of great power for his own nefarious purposes.

Chitra Divyanadi

Enigmatic woman from a race of immortal serpentine beings intimately bound to the elements.  Has known Bremen since he was a young child.  Knows much of the world, it's history and secrets, as well as the mostly unseen dangers it now faces.

The full extent of her powers are unknown, but she has demonstrated shape-shifting, teleportation, command of elements, especially water and earth, healing abilities (both herself & others), and superhuman awareness.

Jacque Bontemps

Much about Lord Bontemp, including his past, as well as his ultimate goals are shrouded in mystery.

Ostensibly a semi-reclusive, lower ranking nobility from a maritime kingdom and a wealthy tycoon, his genteel facade masks a ruthless, amoral soul who'll whatever it takes to get what he wants.

Founder and head of 'Bonfaire Enterprises' a vast umbrella company with numerous fronts specializing in various commercial endeavours, from fine cutlery and textiles to gambling and escort services.

Luyin Shinu

Alluring enchantress with a long, shadowy history and a rather sinister air about her despite her coy exterior.

Although currently under the employ of Jacque Bontemp, and managing various operations of his front organization 'Bonfaire Enterprises,' her true motives and allegiances are unknown even to him.
